Adobe InDesign storyboard template for 2.00:1 (2:1 or 18:9) frame ratio layouts. This aspect ratio is Univisium, cinematographer Vittorio Storaro's proposal for a universal screen ratio. The number of feature films using this format has been growing in recent years. Immersive 360° films such as virtual reality videos use an equirectangular image format with a 2:1 aspect ratio.
InDesign Markup IDML format is compatible with all InDesign versions since CS4 up to InDesign Creative Cloud 2024.
This 30 sheets layout for Din A4 horizontal (landscape) format is ready to use for print and screen presentations. This template lets you write your screenplay or treatment notes alongside your pictures and number them. All you need to do is editing the Text layer and the Images layer in InDesign. The body copy is Avenir Light in 10pt. To format your text, look for Paragraph Styles under Type. For images, drop your pictures in the Images layer. The images should align with the square grid—each subdivision equals 12,027² points to match the leading. You can toggle on and off the Rule of thirds guides (in the top locked layer) to help you frame your compositions.
Fill in the title page, replace the logo and credentials. The template has a light and a dark mode.
